Aside from the goofy facial expression and flat brim, I’m not convinced that Ed’s all that nerdy. My diagnosis would lean more towards redneck or bumpkin.
I’m enjoying the second card autographed by a nerdy Giant. He’s no Scott Garrelts though.
Ed reminds me a bit of John Lackey with that enormous chin.
Sorry Vorpy, that autograph is part of the card. Every 1977 Topps has a fake autograph of the player on it.
Devastating!! I refuse to believe that the Garrelts one is anything but real though.
