Did anyone else read “Highlights” magazine when they were a little kid? One of monthly features was a “hidden pictures” page, or a “spot the differences” page, where they would show you two pictures that were almost exactly the same…but with several slight differences. These usually included someone’s eyes looking in the opposite direction, or having a button missing from their shirt.
Anyway, all these years later, fate intervened and put these two cards one on top of the other in the Nerd Archive.

I’m pretty sure the one on the left is John C. Reilly.
I think this may have been during the time period when Topps took all of its posed baseball card photos at Yankee Stadium in order to cut down on travel expenses. At least that looks like Yankee Stadium in the backgrounds of both cards.
Huh, I didn’t know Topps did that. Interesting, and lame. Good call — that does look like the left field porch at old Yankee Stadium. With regards to the nerds, boy, do I wish mustaches like these were still fashionable.
